As I stepped into The Copper Pot, I was immediately struck by the warm ambiance that reminded me of home. Customers often rave about the down-home cooking that makes this restaurant feel like a friendly kitchen more than a bustling eatery. Take it from Charlean Kemppel, who relished her cheese omelet paired with crispy shredded hashbrowns, hot cinnamon apples, and a fluffy biscuit—a delightful start to any day!
What truly sets The Copper Pot apart is its dedication to exceptional service and fresh ingredients. Awilda Reyes describes it perfectly: "This spot is a hidden gem." The staff thrives on welcoming you with a smile, making every visit feel personal. Dishes like the chicken biscuits received rave reviews for their generous portions and homemade taste, much to the delight of on-the-go travelers, as highlighted by R. Hill's experience. The close proximity to the highway makes it an ideal pit stop, allowing visitors to savor delicious food without straying far from their route.
For lunch enthusiasts, Dusty Ledbetter's recommendation of the Philly cheesesteak and a classic BLT emphasizes the restaurant's diverse offerings. The buffalo chips are a must-try and are frequently mentioned by patrons who appreciate well-prepared comfort food. The Copper Pot aims to replace fast food with genuine flavor—a trait that Craigslists ID acknowledged, appreciating the home-cooked feel of the meals.
However, not every dish hits the mark, as Jamey Atkins experienced with the ground steak, which he found less enticing. Yet, the overall feedback suggests a restaurant dedicated to listening to its customers. The commitment to improving the dining experience, whether through attentive service or addressing feedback, speaks volumes about the restaurant’s ethos.
Families flock to The Copper Pot, with Lj Taylor mentioning a fantastic breakfast that brought them back for supper. The pancakes, touted as the largest and best he has ever tasted, showcase the restaurant’s commitment to quality and generous portions.

“ Nice country style restaurant. I enjoyed my cheese omelet, shredded hashbrowns, hot cinnamon apples & biscuit. I considered getting a lunch plate of vegetable sides but they do add ham to green beans and other than collard greens had no other actual vegetables besides mashed potatoes, mac & cheese most either either deep fried or not so healthy options but good if craving some comfort food. ”
“ This spot is a hidden gem. Our waiter was so nice and very welcoming. The food was so good and fresh. This is a great place to stop by! ”
“ I knew I was in the right place when you can’t find a parking spot! Food was great and came out quickly. Service was awesome. We had Philly cheesesteak and a BLT. The buffalo chips were the prize though! Greatness! ”
“ Stop by traveling home and boy were we so surprised how good our chicken biscuits were!! The sandwich was huge! So close to the highway too!! Husband said best breakfast biscuit and it was really good! ”
“ Excellent food and excellent Service (Thanks Eva.) We were skeptical after reading reviews about service and cost. Not sure what people are talking about, but the prices were great and good food. Felt like home cooked and not a volume restaurant style.. except maybe French fries. Services were prompt and staff was on top of things. Everyone out there was busy waiting or serving. It's an older place and the floor is old style tile and grouts and is not conducive to keeping squeaky clean all the time like newer ones..but they keep it clean. The tables were clean. A must for travelers looking for unique places to try. Well worth it and not way out of the way off of highways. Support local business. ”
